Job Title: Sales Manager

Position Summary:
Petrol Eyewear is a newly launched sunglass company combining the best in lens technology with cutting edge frame styles. Our 2008 collection of high-performance polarized driving and sport-spectator sunglasses will launch in June 2008. We are looking for an experienced sales manager with established contacts to build sales channels and sell into boutiques, large
retailers and optometry offices. This is a tremendous opportunity for a sales leader with the desire to help define and build an eyewear sales strategy around a quality product.

Petrol is seeking a strategic thinker with a proven record of establishing points of sale and selling high-end men¹s eyewear to a wide range of retailers. Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A thorough understanding of eyewear business development and account management
- Innovative approaches/fresh ideas on how to differentiate our product in the market
- The ability to successfully manage a growing number of accounts

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement domestic and international sales strategies.
- Meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets through continuous channel and customer analysis.
- Supervise in-house sales associates and commissioned outside sales reps.
- Gather customer feedback that helps refine our product, product marketing and customer service approaches.
- Assist with tradeshow appearances and other promotional events.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience and success selling sunglasses, goggles or related eyewear accessories.
- Established relationships with eyewear retailers and brand representatives.
- Proven record of successfully managing multiple, large volume accounts.
- New business development experience.
- Ability to effectively lead/supervise a team of sales associates.
- Personal integrity and ethical standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30%).
- A ³Start-Up² mentality: Enthusiastic about helping define a company, an understanding that every dollar counts, and a willingness to take on a variety of roles to meet our shared goals.
